Course Description
Institutional Fundraising: From Prospect to Partner builds on core fundraising fundamentals by exploring three areas for funding diversification and relationship management: corporate partnerships, grant writing, and donor database management. Together, these topics show how opportunities with institutional donors are identified, pursued, tracked, and strengthened over time.

In this course you’ll learn how to build values-aligned relationships with corporate partners, write compelling grant proposals that speak to funder priorities, and maintain a donor database that supports stewardship and long-term engagement. This course is designed for fundraisers who understand the basics of fundraising and are ready to deepen their practice with a blend of practical tools, real examples, and hands-on exercises.

Full participation in this course is applicable for 6 points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.

Participation in this course may assist you in learning or reviewing concepts covered on the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) examination as detailed on the Test Content Outline provided by CFRE International. CFRE International does not sponsor or endorse any educational programs and this course was not developed in conjunction with CFRE International.
